 Milana Aleksandrovna Vayntrub - American actor, comedian and activist After immigrating to America she was born in the Soviet Union to Jewish parents. She began her career as a child actor. In AT&T commercials she played the role of Lily Adams (saleswoman) from 2013 through 2016 and until 2020. Her commercial appearances were not the only thing she did. She was also a part of the Yahoo! Screen science-fiction comedy Other Space (2015) and played a part in a recurring role in the NBC drama This Is Us (2016-2017). Vayntrub has also voiced Squirrel Girl on the Marvel Rising franchise since 2018 after being cast as the character in the unaired TV pilot of New Warriors. Vayntrub was Jewish and born in Tashkent in the Uzbek Soviet Socialist Republic. Her parents and her were exiled from antisemitism by the age of two. They moved to West Hollywood. Her family's financial difficulties led to her acting in Mattel Barbie commercials from the age of five. Vayntrub briefly attended Beverly Hills High School. However, she dropped out of her sophomore year and earned a GED. Following that she went on to earn the Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication from University of California San Diego. Vayntrub studied improv comedy in the Upright Citizens Brigade.
