Hoda Kotb

    Hoda Kotb (born on August 9th, 1964) was an American broadcast journalist, television host and an author. She is a main co-anchor of the NBC News morning show Today and co-host of its entertainment-focused fourth hour. Kotb was previously a reporter for Dateline NBC, a television news magazine. Kotb was born and was raised in Norman, Oklahoma. She was also raised in Morgantown West Virginia and Alexandria, Virginia. Kotb was born in Oklahoma, and grew to be a resident of New Orleans. Her parents are Egyptian. Kotb was with her family in Nigeria for a year, and then Egypt for the following. She is the sibling of Adel and Hala. Sameha ("Sami") was her mom. She worked in the Library of Congress. Her father, Abdelkader Kotb , was an expert in fossil energy who was listed in Who's Who of Technology. The death of his father occurred in 1986 , aged 51. They all had headcovers on. I still remember going, 'Oh, my God. It could be me!. It's difficult to appreciate the gifts your parents provide you with after you leave. Kotb was also able to mention her Muslim family in her autobiography, where she recalled her efforts to make a match with her Egyptian family.
